In our second workshop in the ‘’What you don’t see, does exist’’ series, Lena and Kyra from ASIF Ventures will tell you all there is to know about Venture capital, which is a very specific type of investment for a very unique type of company. In short, when a startup reaches the point where it begins to commercialize its innovation, venture capitalists can offer funding, networks, expertise, and in some cases, validation and credibility for a startup. Join our Workshop on the 3rd of February, starting at 19:30h! During the workshop, Lena and Kyra will give insights into the social networks, selection criteria, and secrets of venture capital funding. As the VC industry is dominated by (specifically white) men, special attention will be paid to female and minority founder focussed VCs! By the end of the session, you will understand basics of venture capital terminology, know when and how to approach venture capitalists for funding and feel more confident and strategic when asking for financial resources.
