My personal highlight of E-ACT in the second building block of the Entrepreneurhsip-Track was the following main message: GET INTO ACTION! Talk with informants, conduct interviews, call interested stakeholders, prove your thoughts and shape them afterwards. Because I learned that only a creative idea is not enough, it should be tested with experiments and customer needs to value it in the end.
— Victor van Saltbommel, student
Starting a business is tricky. But going circular is just plain hard. It needs both conceptual thinking and learning by doing, navigating trade-off’s and compromises between business, environmental and social impact. For those of you brave enough to take on the challenge, the Circular Entrepreneurship course offers the start of your odyssey.

Period 4

BSc: Entrepreneurship in practice

BSc: Integrated module - Case Studies Food Quality

MSc: Intrapreneurship: Impacting existing organizations

The course Building Entrepreneurial Teams highly connects entrepreneurial thinking and its underlying theories with reality. With a student team in the course, you will analyse a team of an innovative company, start-up or knowledge institute, which opens doors for learning about your own team, how to work as a consultant and getting a better understanding of the importance of teams for sustainable innovativeness, all within an entrepreneurial context. I personally really got involved in the course content and noticed how my entrepreneurial mindset changed over the weeks. A real recommendation for anyone who wants to learn more about entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and the role of teams in the innovation process.

BSc: Integrated module - Biotechnology 2

MSc: Business Cases Agri-Food entrepreneurship

MSc: New Venture Creation

MSc: E-ACT + PREP

MSc: Developing Entrepreneurial Agency (MOS-module)

New Venture Creation is a course where students can really experiment with their own ideas. There is a lot of freedom to choose what you want to achieve with your diverse group of teammates. We have seen many success stories pursuing their ideas even beyond the course into the programs of StartHub. If you want to really experience entrepreneurship, you should follow this course!
— Lisa Ploum, teacher
I followed the MOS module Pursuing and Realising Entrepreneurial Projects together with the E-Act during period 5 of last year. It was during that period that the shift from a normal education to a fully online experience was implemented, making us, the students, the guinea pigs of a whole new way of managing the courses.
However, thanks to the set-up of the PREP module, which included extensive use of a collaborative whiteboard platform to allow teams to work, brainstorm and design together (such as Miro), we could apply and test the theory in our ACT projects as if we were in the same room. That was definitely an interesting way to make the best out of the online education.
